Join us for an introduction to sea kayaking in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area! Our weekend begins in the protected waters of Horseshoe Cove developing your fundamental sea kayaking skills. Here you will be introduced to the basic paddle strokes necessary for effectively and efficiently maneuvering your kayak as well as learning techniques for rescuing yourself and others.
This clinic is designed for new paddlers – no experience necessary! The clinic includes 2 days of instruction, lodging, dinner and breakfast.

Please note: Cost does not include kayak and gear rental. You can rent all the necessary kayak equipment, including wetsuit, paddle jacket, US Coast Guard approved Personal Flotation Device (PFD), sprayskirt, paddle, bilge pump, paddle float and kayak you'll need for the clinic.
