I am excited and honored to be coaching again at PGG! Ladies, I’ll be offering Ladies Rock Gardening Class with the incredible Kelly Marie Henry on Sunday. Registration for CCK’s Paddle Golden Gate is now open! This year’s symposium features:
A fresh coach line up. We have coaches coming from the Pacific Northwest, Midwest, East Coast, British Columbia, Nova Scotia, and the UK. PGG is a great way to work with coaches we normally would have to travel hundreds of miles to work with. In addition to our fantastic local coaches and a few PGG favorites such as Gordon Brown and Paul Kuthe, we have many new faces. BASK has made a generous donation to the event and has fully sponsored a coach. The recipient of the BASK Coach Sponsorship: Matt Giblin. Matt is coming to us from the UK and we're excited to have a new face at PGG.
More courses for the Advanced Intermediate / Expert Paddler. We still have plenty of Advanced Beginner and Intermediate courses, so all paddlers will find the correct challenge level for themselves. However, many folks have felt like they had progressed through the symposium courses and were not challenged enough. We have heard you, and we have added more classes focused on advanced play and refining skills in bigger, rougher water.
Full week of BCU Courses prior to PGG. Whether you want to test your sea kayak skills, train or assess as a Sea Kayak Leader, or participate in Coach Trainings, we have a course for you. It has been difficult to find these high quality courses on the West Coast, and we are pleased to offer them. You can learn more about BC Programs here.
Dinner Only Meal Plan Option. If you live locally and have your own bed and food, please join us for dinner and entertainment on Friday and Saturday evening.
